The band relaxes at the iconic Pink Pony after a performance on Mackinac Island.

MACKINAC ISLAND, MICHIGAN — The pipes are calling us back to Mackinac Island.

Above, band members relax after playing for an Aug. 13, 2016, wedding on the island, home of Michigan’s largest (maybe) concentration of fudge, horses, tourists and smiles. We return to Mackinac on Sunday, June 18, as guests of the Glen Erin Pipe Band to play in the Grand Parade as part of the annual Lilac Festival, a 10-day celebration and the first of the summer season. The parade steps off at 4 p.m.

Afterward, we’ll play for the revelers at establishments throughout downtown. Follow the sound of the pipes!
